Founded in 1949, the Grants Pass Clinic is a multi-specialty medical group dedicated to providing high quality health care to our patients with compassion, integrity and professionalism. The Grants Pass Clinic is a physician-owned, financially strong and thriving multi-specialty group. Our partner group is the largest in Southern Oregon and consists of internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, podiatry and acute care. We provide on-site laboratory and radiology services and other ancillary patient services such as EKGs, pulmonary function and treadmill tests and holter monitoring.
We are conveniently located across the street from Three Rivers Medical Center, which provides all hospital services in Grants Pass. This modern facility includes a 24 hour, full service emergency room, 125 beds, a family birthing center with 800+ births annually, and an adjacent cancer center.
Our physicians continue to be instrumental in evolving health care at the local level. We adopted a fully integrated electronic medical record system in 2008. In 2012 Grants Pass Clinic was recognized by the State of Oregon as achieving Tier III (the highest level) in the Patient-Centered Primary Care Home Program. In 2015, the Oregon Health Authority recognized Grants Pass Clinic as a trail blazer in health system transformation, and subsequently awarded them their 3-STAR Designation status.
We are actively engaged in the integration of cost-effective comprehensive medical, mental, and dental health services for patients in our rural area through innovative efforts, including creation of Primary Health of Josephine County, a local Community Care Organization (CCO). These are exciting times to be a primary care provider in Southern Oregon! We would love to discuss these endeavors with applicants who resonate with what we are co-creating in our region.
Grants Pass is located on the wild and scenic Rogue River. The area is renowned for its whitewater rafting and fly fishing. A wide variety of recreational and cultural opportunities exist for the entire family. Southern Oregon's best known features include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, the Britt Music Festival in Jacksonville, and Oregon Caves National Monument. We are one hour north of the California border, and within two hours of Redwood National Park, Crater Lake National Park, and the Oregon coast. Our four-season climate most closely resembles that of the temperate Napa Valley and the surrounding area is fast developing it's own reputation as wine country. The long season not only produces fine wines, but also provides ample opportunity for golfing, tennis, hiking, and camping. Grants Pass has a vibrant city recreation program and many beautiful local parks to enjoy.
